We are officially half way thru the regular season of fantasy football, and what have we learned 7 weeks into the 2024 NFL season…Well TEs can’t be trusted, running back by committee is just the norm, Dennis Allen and Doug Pederson are lucky to still have jobs…Bill is still behind the booth waiting for a call, preseason injury concerns should be warranted, more teams need to run pre-snap motion (it makes no sense not to), and kickers be kicking. But it’s not just having knowledge that makes you successful, it’s application of said knowledge and how you execute it. Scared money don’t make money! This may be the first year when I can honestly say everyone has a shot, and I actually mean it. Everyone has at least one win or one loss, besides Quan and Jean everyone is pretty much .500. With that being said let’s jump into the week 7 review!

Let me start by just saying this was one of the worst weeks of fantasy I’ve seen in awhile! More than half the league scored at or under 100 points…but in every storm there is a ray of light. Congratulations Quan on officially being the Week 7 King of the Ring! With 153.44 points Mr. Savvy himself (https://youtube.com/@mistersportssavvy?si=2jnOaRc3wngTpFRX) rolled with Drake Maye, Amon-Ra, BTJ, and the Broncos D/ST all put up over 20 points, not to get left behind Kyren and Drake London put up 19 and 18 pts respectively. If your going to take your first loss I guess it’s best to do it by 60 points. The CEO may have took the fat L but Jean is still in the black on the season, not time to start cookin' the books just yet.

Kris and End Game continue to be a sneaky good team…but no more!!! Hey guys…this guy won last year…in case you forgot! Led by the birthday boy Ken Walker himself with 23 points and 2 TDs, Jettas continues to make everyone regret passing on him in drafts. Now this one hurts me personally, but Kevin did lose Jayden Daniels early in the game. However even an extra 20 wouldn’t have kept the Bread winners from getting stuffed as Tyreek Hill and JSN combined for 7.6 points and Tony Pollard was back to being Tony Pollard.

Well it’s official the win streak is ON! Trenton and the Sliders said enough is enough, pulled it out and let it drop right in front of Jalen Hurts and Mark Andrews. Kareem Hunt fresh off the streets goes off for 22.3 and a mediocre Sam DarnOld is all you need when life is eazy Breecy. But I have a feeling Dan is going to make a push in the back half of the season. Jalen is Jalen, Andrews is getting more involved, Davante gets an upgrade, and JuJu and CeeDee should be target magnets. Brighter futures for both squads.

When you draft a team and everything works out on a given week, it feels SO good!!! Well enjoy the feeling Corey! The Goon Squad had 4/5 top picks go off for 20 points on their way to put up 147 points on the week as they may have caught Willie and No Limit looking ahead to next week. And the trap game was real cause JK Dobbins has become JK JK LOL Dobbins at this point. Bijan has awoken but it was nonetheless not enough. Tank with the Goose was surprising for everyone I think, and the Jets D with -5….yeah that’s a negative, not a typo.

The ebb and flow of the seas has claimed yet another wayward soul! The battle of the little brothers was underwhelming…well except for Captain Jackson balling out with 5TDs for Seth, and Delvron praying Gibbs went off for 50 instead of 32! It was either ball out or ball sack in this one. Del did lose Aiyuk for the season, but it’s not hard to find receivers nowadays. Seth also gets his Amari Cooper upgrade, now on the Bills. All three receivers for the 2 Live Crew combined for 6.5 points, and James Cook with 9.2 finally turned the burners down on the oven for Seth.

Well folks enjoy the view while it last…yours truly is the official Dum Dum of the Week! If anyone has the number for a domestic abuse line, please send it this way! I knew it was going to be a rough one, but I didn’t see 66.44 points rough…but let’s not take away from what was a good win for Pilar! Who must just enjoy the Kirk Cousins Dad vibes, Tee Higgins (18.2) continues to be solid when he’s on the field, Rachaad White (29.1) said what time share, and the Commanders D (18) keeps putting up points for ya girl! And with no bench to speak of she keeps putting up the W’s…this is painful to watch, I just want you all to know this.

That’s a wrap on week 7. Halfway thru the season let’s look at the current standings, and current playoff race!!! Sorry for the delay, I'll do better. Best of luck to all
